What to Wear on Valentine’s Day
I think we can all agree that it’s a special day that comes only once a year. People make plans with their significant others and get ready to do all sorts of stuff together. They try to make their other half feel more special.
However, whether we’re talking about a casual night-out, a cute dinner with your boyfriend/girlfriend or just going out with your girlfriends or with boyfriends, there is always the pressure on you to look good and make an awesome impression during this day.
Even if you’re single, don’t lock yourself inside your home and watch movies in your pajamas. Remember that you can have fun! Go out there, and have fun!
However, whatever your status will be on the 14th of February, you have to be ready to look amazing, because it will influence the way you see and feel about yourself.
If you’re a girl:
It doesn’t really matter if you’re going to a romantic dinner or going to party, what you need to is a jaw-dropping dress that will accentuate all of your assets and narrow your waist. There are a few dresses that do that, so let’s dive right into the details.
Trumpet Style Dress – They NEVER fail to make you feel special and when combined with a cap or accentuated sleeve or shoulder, they will be a head-turner for sure! What’s even more, if you’re going for a pencil style, that’s even better and can make ANY woman look and feel sleek and trim.
However, there are many ladies that may feel uncomfortable wearing pencil styles. If you’re in that category, you can always go for the A-line, which is a classic that will never fail you.
If you’re single and looking for a date, then a décolleté necklines or a slit pencils-style is what you’re looking for. Keep in mind not to use these two at the same time because it may be too much.
Also, make sure that you’re as colorful as possible. Don’t wear a bright red as that might show people that you’re trying too hard, go for something colder and that brings out all of your assets.
If you’re a man:
Unlike women, it’s pretty easy for men to dress up. However, even if it’s easy, you can’t get away from your day-by-day look, blue jeans, and a dirty t-shirt. You have to call for a bit of formality.
Therefore, make sure to prepare your favorite suit the day BEFORE Valentine’s Day, so you won’t be under pressure and can do a perfect job. Combine it with a silk tie and pair of cufflinks and you’re good to go!
NOTE: NEVER wear tie-clips, no matter where you go because they’re not trendy anymore and may not bring out the best for you.
Follow these steps closely and you’re bound to have a great time on the 14th of February!
